OK, in that case:

16 - Superkid

8 - Boulder Dash

How (T.F.) is that algorithm working then? The Boulderdash title panel is mostly blue with a few cyan pixels, yet that thing's rendered it all in cyan. Superkid's head has all gone black except for one character in white. And yet the title has all gone red.

It's not simply using the INK or PAPER for a cell (at least, not consistently).

It's certainly not making the most informed choice, i.e. whether a character cell has more INK or PAPER pixels, then taking one or the other colour for the whole cell, since that would make something a lot more consistent.

Is it just picking one particular pixel out of each character (maybe top-right?) and setting the whole square to that colour? Whatever it is, it's barking mad.

Now that this thing is "done and dusted", may I ask one question ... is there a good reason why this particular quiz always starts at such an early hour on a Friday? I already assume the majority of users on the SC forums have some kind of IT job (read: sitting in front of a screen during the day anyway) and additionally, I guess some happen to have enough "downtime" during the day that they can leisurely fire off guesses at these hours. Just genuinely interested.

Not everyone has this "luxury" though. Well, it's just a quiz, only brownie points to be gained, but the timing does prevent some of us from entering

Yep, that pretty much sums it up

This time I was free 9-9.30 so was able to fire off a couple of guesses, and had another look at lunchtime.

Other times I've only managed to check it around lunchtime and found the few that I know have already been guessed.

I've found it's harder where you get 1-2 people interchanging multiple answers in a short time, rather than the time itself, all the obvious ones can be gone very quickly.

If I'm joining the quiz at the time it's released, I personally will try to guess without looking anything up, so only go for ones I'm sure of, rather than trawling the archive. Once it's a free-for-all and a time where Greencard wants it done-and-dusted, I will check to see if my hunches (Hunchbacks?) were correct.
