An excellent shooter -especially for its day- , a very competent fighter with radar included .

A horizontal shoot'em up in a loop environment, with plenty of helicopters to shoot down.
Could have been decent, but the wait and the terrible and persisting sound effect when you crash are too annoying.
The main screen tune is ok, and so are the graphics.

No major advance here on Harrier Attack! which was itself a 16K remake of an Oric game and inspired by Scramble and Defender.
The simplicity of Falcon Patrol 2, a wrap around flying and shooting game from the Defender school, and its satisfying takedowns give it some one more go appeal, but this was still quite a lazy release that could have offered a lot more variety.

An 1985 game identical to older games such as Harrier Attack as another user states, but limited for it's day and age. It's nostalgic for me and fun from time to time, but there are other games I rather use my time with.

I did enjoy this game, it's a fun shooter, but it has some drawbacks. It feels too much the same, there's no variety in the game, it is very repetitive and the sound is appalling. But it is a fun game and one I really enjoyed playing and look forward to playing again. I struggled to decide whether to give it a 3 or 4 but ultimately decided that for fun alone it was worth 4 but being too much the same throughout and having dreadful sound was worth -1, plus if I scored this out of 10 I'd probably give it 6, so 3 seems to be the most realistic score. But, I like it.
