Talking about an original idea, this is indeed one. The name seems a pun on the famous compilation They Sold a Million, but once you start playing it, you soon forget about that and understand why it's called that way.
The game is divided in two parts. The first, is the preparing part, you pick a team, a fence, select one of five targets and prepare a plan.
A team, a target, a plan, what's he talking about? Well it's not sports, it's Ocean's 11 in game form.

The second part is the planning and execution of the robbery (yup). This is all icon-driven, and you have lots of options to deal with, like what each member will be doing, where he will be standing, the time necessary for each move, etc. There is a lot to the game, and it's hard to explain it all. It requires a lot of study and note taking.
After doing the necessary arrangements you execute the plan and watch the action happen, fully animated.

Although I don't feel any attraction with the world of crime, I would have loved to own this game in 1986.

Curious and certainly peculiar and popular back in its day.

Crime oriented Strategy in all its Glory!"
