I run Stable Diffusion on the PC and pretty much any resolution can be defined but the AI is trained on square images (512x512 on SD, 1024x1024 for SDXL) so most of the online stuff sticks to what it's trained on.

I did splurge once on a large collection of games because Pentagram was hidden in there :?
In all, I have about 100 games but they're purely for display and I've no intention of "collecting"

Re: Landscape artwork and other stuff

I think you could outdo any adventure games' artwork through the spectrum years, really.. this is next level. The Hobbit is begging for this! wonders how many screens there are Wikipedia suggests 50 :? but the 128k version says 55 https://www.vintageisthenewold.com/zx-spectrum-the-hobbit-128k-edition

After my rubberkey died (around 1988), I didn't get another until about 16 years ago - I had planned to shove the board inside an Asus Eee 700 I had lying around. This didn't happen as I coukdn't figure out how to connect the keyboard :? I have at least 3 rubberkeys lying around but they, like all m...

Re: Piracy of new Games today on the ZX Spectrum and Next

I buy the odd Spectrum game even though I never play them - sometimes they look like so much effort has gone in that I'm basically buying them a coffee to say "Thanks". I've been burned by the music and games industries by paying top whack and receiving utter sh*te (Fallout76 ??) and find ...
