Re: The Witch

As Andre said, there was a rushed version that entered the compo in 2018 but was not made available to the public, only the judges played it. It was ranked in the 20th place. The game released now is the final version of the game, and this time it is indeed available to everyone. Of course I'll be h...

Need help with proofreading

I would be most thankful if some of you English native speakers could help me proofreading my new game instructions.

If you could spare a few minutes, it would mean a lot. The file is 7 pages long, but it has some areas of big fonts and some pictures too.

PM me if you are interested.

Thanks.

Re: Dream compilation - Driving games

My favourites are APB, 4x4 Ironman and Supercars. I never liked the "Out Run" view too much, anyway I guess Chase HQ and Wec Le Mans could be added too.

Re: Minigames within games

Has the safe cracking minigame from All or Nothing been mentioned? Is it anywhere in the youtube vid ? I can't find it. It is featured in the video at 02:01, but as the whole walkthrough is recorded using rollbacks, it seems that the player magically knows the key number. In a normal game, if you e...

Re: Help needed to assemble popeye AGD scripts

Hey Gabriele, please notice that a perfect tool for that job exists already. It is called Perilla and can extract AGD scripts from a SNA and also rebuild an AGD game with certain scripts from regular text files. There is a series of youtube videos like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Xl6ty1k_9...

Re: An article about the coming up Spectrum Homebrew games

BTW is there a main link to this MK1 competition? Not heard of it before. https://www.retromaniac.es/2020/03/mojonconcurso-la-vista-sacale-punta-la.html I couldn't find an English version, sorry. In short, the deadline is 30/09/2020, the point of the compo is to use the recently released MK1 and th...

Re: Help wanted - CSS CGC entries

Hi guys, I think I'm done with 2006 but there are some games in the zip that don't have an existing entry in SC. Those games are listed in that year compo site but I don't know what to do with them, as they come as .p files. Do you know how to open those .p? Are those files to be included here in SC...

Re: New Game - Springbot

I've played it for 20 minutes and it has been a pleasant experience so far. Difficulty is ok, I feel there is not many more screens to pass from where I die. Maybe tomorrow I get better. I like the main character, it reminds me of a Bubble Bobble baddie, and the screens are well drawn. A fine piece ...
