Well it's not a direct conversion, rather a reinterpretation made with the MK2 tool. But it's interesting nonetheless.

Yes, it will be one of these AGD/Churerra/MK2 made platfofmers. Not a remake but rather
a so called "demake" - reinterpretation with more humble means than the original.

It has clean, nice graphics. But if expected something closer to original, bigger sprites and more impressive
backgrounds then you may be disappointed.

I such case you could always try recent Toki remake for Amstrad CPC :)

I just saw how the game is going so far on the Javi Ortíz channel.
Looks good.
Finally a Toki in speccy.
It is not said when it will be finished. Or did I miss it?

Quite interesting.
By now, it is based on the original Toki. And it looks great.
