Well... Spectrum Cross was released as a type in in 83. Then it showed up on Cassette 50, as something of a 'hidden gem'. While is was a basic game it had a nice little ASM routine. Anyway, I got to disassembling the game for a bit of fun, and as a result I present:
FROGGER 50
Changes:
Cool loading screen
Music - Cars by Gary Newman (Get it???)
New BeeperFX sound routines
The original boasted as many UDG as is possible - now there are even more!
Changes to the graphics
re compiled in ZX Basic
Many code tweaks, changes and improvements
keys are 1,9,0 - I couldn't bring myself to change them.

Re: Frogger 50
Good work. It's nice to see this build up from that ASM coding thread. It's harder than Spectrum Cross from the off.

Thanks, it was a lot of fun and great learning. Special thanks to Morkin and flatduckrecords for detailed explanations and patients
Its hard to know how easy/hard to make a game. I played this so much that I've lost all sense of challenge!
Interesting to see this uses the same UDG. Wonder which came first?

FINALLY made a tap file for this. I swear its taken me 7 hours
For some reason the emulator kept crashing of something went wrong. Anyway please enjoy.
I'd say a score over 1000 is a good stab.
