Reviews for The Comet Game (#1037)

I remember when this game was released.
Remember people saying that the comet marked the beginning of the end of the world that was later to happen in the year 2000.
Since everyone talked about Halley's Comet, why not make a game?
Unfortunately the game is as boring as it was staring at the sky waiting to see the famous comet, expecting some sort of fireworks or anything.

Not a brilliant game. You are the AI in charge of a spaceship on the way to Halley's comet which is full of space disease or something.

On the way you have to repeatedly do 1 of 5 mini-games. One involves pointing the satellite dish the right way which takes about 2 seconds which is just rubbish.

The best game is the life-support one where you make coffee for the astronaut while periodically emptying their bladder by pressing the P button. It's rather good fun.

At the end you fly over the comet, shooting blobs of bacteria.

The end.
