Reviews for Physical Frenzy (#18782)

Well here's one I'd never heard of before. Released by an Italian company SM Software and written by two Italian chaps Paolo Perrotta and Stefano Carrafa and this was their only game. In this game you control a slinky which is just the best thing ever. I really liked how it looked and how it's designed, but what I didn't appreciate was its difficulty. A lot of the game is based on timing and even getting past the second screen was tough. Saying that, it is a particularly well written game and it's a bit of a shame we don't get to see more of what the authors were capable of doing.

1985 SM Software (Italy)
by Paolo Perrotta & Stefano Carrafa

This is not the first game written using a slinky spring toy, there is at least another more popular one, which I can't remember the name.
This Italian effort nonetheless, is quite interesting. You move from screen to screen facing different obstacles requiring a lot of preciseness and accuracy. The obstacles themselves get a bit repetitive, or at least aren't all that varied, just enough.
Graphics and animation are good, could have been better but still are detailed enough to make the game more enjoyable.
The problem is it's difficulty, should it be slightly easier and it would be way more addictive, of course a bigger map would be required.
