Rather simplistic decathlon game but no hammering your keyboard or joystick with this one. You just set the difficulty level in each event (1-10) and then raise or lower the effort put in. If you put it too high your man will run out of steam before the end and collapse, too little and your opponents will disappear into the distance. There’s running at 100 and 400m distances, the same events with hurdles to jump which is a bit more challenging, and a rather basic hammer throw. The animation of the runners is quite good but that’s about it for graphics. Both Daley Thompson and Micro-Olympics are much better unless you don’t want to pound your keyboard

I'm quite keen on these multi-sport Olympic type games so was quite pleased to have been presented this one. We have 100m, 400m. 110m Hurdles, 400m Hurdles and the Hammer Throw. For the running events you have to move your effort up and down to determine your speed, or power as it's written here, and if you go too fast you fall over, and that happened to me a lot. The hurdles are the same except you jump over hurdles, see, if you don't jump you fall but you can continue albeit way behind the others. And the Hammer? Well I've no idea what's going on here, either I don't throw it at all or when I do it's a minute distance. Pressing anything other than fire results in no throw so button mashing for instance doesn't work, like this event doesn't work for this particular event. It's a refreshing change from button mashing, but I just feel winning is a matter of chance rather than skill and that element should never exist in these kind of game so that was a proper turn off for me. I think I'll just stick to Hyper Sports and Decathlon thank you very much.
