If you loved Turrican you will loathe Turrican II ... and I´ll tell you why .

Basically is the same thing but with worse colors & graphics . This said , the movements are ok .

But the most annoying aspect of this program are the maddening colors !! This game really causes sore eyes and epilepsy ...

Avoid !!

At first, I really disliked this game, colour clashing is everywhere and firing does not accurately hit opponents as it should. But after submerging myself into the game, it started to became more addictive. There are a few mazes and platforms to get around, which are kind of nice. But the main problems still persist, although not entirely along the game, with a few areas not being so affected by color "explosions". However, like with the prequel, it's too jerky, confusing and inaccurate to my likings.

Ugh! What horrible graphics! What happened to those fantastic graphics from the previews? Were they merely mock ups or were the graphics changed late on in development? Either way, the graphics were a far cry from what was shown in the magazines and a million miles away from the fantastic visuals of the first game.
Turrican was a fantastic game and expectations were high for the sequel. But for some reason it just doesn't deliver the same thrills as. It's not as bad as I remembered it to be honest but the first game is better in every way.

What's more disappointing than a disappointing Turrican? A sequel that's worse! The graphics are dreadful, the gameplay is identical and the controls don't work sometimes, you have to command him to jump like four times before he actually jumps. The one thing missing most from the first game was music, this has title music which is awful, sounds like it's fitting for a soccer game, made of think of Sensible Soccer for a little bit. I was disappointed with Turrican, I am pissed however with Turrican II. I'm glad I never saw this in the shops, would have been a waste of money.
