Reviews for Twister - Fruit Machine (#5487)

Out of curiosity I looked to see if there was a version of the classic Milton Bradley game Twister on the Spectrum. Surprise surprise there wasn't, but there was a Fruit Machine called Twister and I like these type of games and so I'm all for it. This one comes from the Czech Republic and is from 1998, and is pretty good fun. It looks nice and has some nice music and it plays as a fruit machine game should do. However, there are multiple games within the machine, like standard Twister which gives you a gamble game if you obtain one of the winning reels, and then if you have money in the ClubMeter, you can play one of the other games that increases your winning lines but increases the bet with it, and honestly, it added pretty much nothing to the game for me, I was doing just fine with the need of them and once I got to them my winnings evaporated, so assholes to them frankly. It doesn't offer much compared to say the Fruit Machine Simulators from Codemasters, but it does offer a similar vein of enjoyment in spite of this and I certainly enjoyed this more than Arcade Fruit Machine from Zeppelin. But I feel also, and I've said this before, less is more, again I was doing just fine with the basic game and when I took the chance of doing the other games it did nothing for me. But all in all, it's good fun for what it is.
