This one received good reviews, but I wonder why. It's true that I haven't really played it, it's also true that the game doesn't exactly beg you to, with his boring long corridors, confusionary backgrounds [all the same in the whole map], very mild shooting and jumping sequences, lots of uncomprehensible alien codes and font, and not, absolutely not a single antropomorphic reptile to be seen anywhere at all. Visitorsless would have been a more apt title. It's in the mediocre range of the Ocean Software tie in's of the year, along with Transformers, better than the horrible Miami Vice, Knight Rider, Highlander etc., but far from the masterpieces too, and I'm talking about The Great Escape and Batman.
2,5/5
I was hoping the game would be as good as the TV show (which wasn't all that good either), and after a few minutes of playing I felt really disappointed.
There isn't much to do, you spent much of your time running around similar corridors, and after that there's more corridors. It reminds me of 'Aliens' from Electric Dreams, which also includes running horizontally thru a maze of corridors (the ship corridors), but without the excellent plot.
Worthless, average, boring, fiddly, shameless cash in.
Let's buy a license based on the 1980's potentially most popular Sci-Fi show ever. But then make the game a boring trudge-o-thon with no fucking lizard people in it!
Yep V has no actual V's in it.
...and the old Jewish guy in the show who shows the kid how to graffiti the alien propaganda poster with a "V for Victory" would be pissed off, that's for sure!
The only V this game should have anything to do with is 2 fucking fingers!
2 fingers right up!
