By this time I was starting to get into programming, and because sound in the Speccy is such a shameful thing specially when programming in BASIC, this utility did make me feel quite special when compared to my mates who had nothing more than the usual BEEP command. By then my games were still crap, but my friends all respected me for my new discovered music "abilities". Of course I kept it as a secret, which endured for about two weeks until the utility was copied from a compilation tape I had lend to a friend.

'Wham! The Music Box' was a great tool those days either just for fun or for use with your programs. It allows the use of two channels and several sounds of percussion or white noise. Then you can record your work and use the code in your programs. So a very useful music utility. BTW it seems that the tunes in Fairlight and Way Of The Exploding Fist were made using Wham!
