Astro Marine Corps, 21 Jun 2011 (Rating: 4)

Shoot'em-up with big colorful sprites, paralax scrolling, animated background and in-game music. Am I talking about a game from arcades? No. It's "Astro Marine Corps" on ZX Spectrum. Like many Spanish games it's quite hard (especially the 2nd part) but also very playable.
If you wanna play a good blaster with good gfx try this!

RoboCop, 24 Jun 2011 (Rating: 5)

This game was very good in 1988 and is very good today. It's a perfect example how to make a computer conversion of an action movie. It has a lot of shooting, it follows the movie story and it's playable too!. And it's possible to finish it without cheating.
Highly recommended.

W*H*B, 07 Jan 2012 (Rating: 5)

W*H*B is a perfect logic game. Simple rules, very good presentation, a lot of thinking and no time limit. Highly recommended!

Heart Stealer, 18 Jun 2012 (Rating: 3)

Nice little game. It's very easy and short, so completing it in 20 minutes isn't strange.
Graphics are very colorful - especially the backrgounds (sometimes too colorful). Animation of sprites is smooth but enemies are very simple - they just move but always look the same.

If you are looking for a game for a while then "Heart Stealer" is a good choice.

Retroinvaders, 12 Sep 2012 (Rating: 4)

"Retro Invaders" is a very playable "Gyrrus" clone (or "Space Invaders" sequel). Gameplay is simple but addictive, skill level is set just right. Graphics are almost monochrome but clear, sound and music are great.
Play the 128k version because the 48k one is much worse.

Excellent conversion of great game. Everything is here - superb gfx & sfx and playability. Forget the 48 version and play that for 128k machines.

Space Crusade, 18 Feb 2015 (Rating: 4)

Very playable version of board game. 12 missions, many weapons and add-ons to choose. Good graphics and sound fx. The only disadvantage is "roll the dice" system which makes shooting and fighting completely random. Remember to play the 128 version (48 version has cut-down animations and no sound). Recommended.

Deflektor, 14 Jan 2016 (Rating: 4)

Good puzzle game based on interesting idea but much too hard. There are no level codes, so when your three lives are gone you have to play from the beginning. Deflektor is playable only if you can save your game progress (using emulator or special interface connected to Spectrum).

Stranded 2.5, 19 Jan 2016 (Rating: 5)

This is almost perfect logic game. The rules are simple, puzzles are not too easy, presentation is great. The only disadvantage is time limit, but you can't have everything. If you like logic games play it now!

RoboCop 3, 21 Jan 2016 (Rating: 3)

The last and worst RoboCop game. It's very short (only 5 levels and two of them are the same), graphics are completely monochrome and sometimes very ugly. The authors tried to add a little of variety (Operation Wolf style level and repairing RoboCop) but result is just very average shoot'em up.

Nightmare Rally, 25 Jan 2016 (Rating: 5)

Nightmare Rally is very original and playable racing game. There are 18 stages and you have to finish each of them before time runs out. You must also collect certain amount of points and to do that you have to go the correct way around flags, jump or somersault over hills, drive over cones. There are also special effects like teleports, superturbo, flying and obstacles like trees, bushes, stones and walls. Authors included also various surface types, night driving and fog. Graphics are very good, animation is fast and the engine sound is interesting. Highly recommended!
